Formerly known as Teachers, Trucks, and Tools, we are a small business owned and operated by individuals who are passionate about our work. We are located near Ankeny, Iowa. We have experience building and installing decks & fences. After spending the last several years working for other companies, we have decided to start our own adventure. We are excited to begin this venture and specialize in all things decks and fences including installation, repair, washing, staining, and general upkeep.
We work diligently to ensure we provide excellent service and great products to our customers. We take pride in our quality of work and responsiveness.
Ryan Boley: Owner
A former English teacher who enjoys working outdoors and is ready for an exciting change in careers. Ryan taught English for 8 years and currently coaches Football and Soccer at Baxter High School. He enjoys working with students, but is ready for a change. Ryan is passionate about his work and enjoys working with his hands. In addition to contract work, Ryan is a husband and father who enjoys spending time with his loved ones.

We are located near Ankeny but serve the Des Moines Metro and all surrounding areas. Including Ankeny, Ames, Bondurant, & more!
McK & Rae provides a variety of services in addition to deck and fencing installation including: Deck Repair, Fence Repair, Power Washing, Staining, Painting, Woodworking Projects, Tear Outs/Clean-ups, and General Contract Work.
Our prices are project-based, we work with individuals and their projects to find a fair price for both our company and the customer. Please feel free to reach out about your project!
